This track should only be attempted by experienced bushwalkers. It involves rock scrambling and difficult ascends using a fixed chain for assistance. Leaving the car at the Border gates ( tick inspection area), head towards Mt Lindesay. The track follows the National Park boundary, and you follow it until you get to a track on the left. After following this track, skirt into the national park.

This is an adventurous trail through the Border Ranges National Park in southeast Queensland, located on the New South Wales state border. This out-and-back route begins and ends from Mount Lindesay Road. Drive up Old Mt Lindesay Road (a small, narrow dirt road). It's overgrown, and it's evident that not many people get there.

The Mt Lindesay picnic area is quite a drive north of Denmark, and part of the roads needed to access the national park are gravel. So there is some driving required to get here, because it is quite a bit out of the way, and be prepared for some rough conditions, although it's certainly manageable with a 2WD.
